CAPVINA 35×7 rotation resistant wire rope (cáp thép 35×7 chống xoắn) is a Grade A non-rotating wire rope with 35 strands of 7 wires and a steel core (35×7 IWRC). With very low rotation under load it is the preferred tower crane wire rope and the choice for high-lift, single-fall hoisting.

What is 35×7 rotation resistant wire rope?
35×7 is a multi-strand wire rope with 35 strands of 7 wires in three layers. The outer and inner strands are laid in opposite directions, so the rope hardly twists or spins under load.
Why do tower cranes use non-rotating wire rope?
On tower cranes and high lifts the load hangs on a long single fall. An ordinary 6-strand rope would untwist and spin the load; a 35×7 non-rotating wire rope keeps the hook stable and protects the rope from damage.
What is the difference between 35×7 and 6xWS36 wire rope?
6xWS36 IWRC has high strength and fatigue life but rotates under load; 35×7 is rotation resistant. Use 35×7 for tower cranes and high lifts, and 6xWS36 for crawler cranes, winches and multi-fall reeving.
